The "SHMonsterArts Godzilla Junior & Destroyah Evolution Set" (Bandai Spirits) will be released, featuring figures such as Godzilla Junior from the 1995 film "Godzilla vs. Destroyah." The set will cost 18,700 yen.
This set includes Godzilla Jr., Destroyah split body, Destroyah aggregate body, and Destroyah flying body. Godzilla Jr. and Destroyah split body are figures based on the original prototypes sculpted by Yuji Sakai. The Destroyah aggregate body was sculpted by Hiroshi Sagae, and the Destroyah flying body was sculpted by Taichi Yamada and produced by Shinichi Wakasa, all of which were based on the original prototypes.
Godzilla Junior boasts a wide range of motion, and the Destroyah Assembly and Destroyah Flying figures all have movable joints. The Destroyah Assembly can also be swapped to recreate the extended mouth.
Godzilla Junior is approximately 11cm tall, the Destroyah split body is approximately 6cm tall, the Destroyah assembly is approximately 9cm tall, and Destroyah is approximately 14cm wide. Preorders are being accepted on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipments are scheduled for June.
