The premiere screening of the film "All Greens" (directed by Takashi Koyama, scheduled for release on January 16th) was held on January 6th at Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo), with actors Sara Minami, Natsuki Deguchi, and Mizuki Yoshida in attendance. At the event, they looked friendly as they looked at each other and laughed, and revealed that they call each other by unique nicknames.
Filming apparently took place in the fall of last year, with Deguchi sharing, "There's a scene where I play tag with Sara-san, and I spent my 23rd birthday there, and everyone said 'congratulations' to me." The host noticed that Deguchi called Minami "Sara-san," and when they asked what they call each other, Deguchi revealed that Yoshida also calls him "Mizuki-san." Yoshida also said that he calls Minami "Sara-san" and Deguchi "Natsuki-san."
During filming, Minami, Deguchi, and Yoshida apparently had many ad-libbed scenes, with Minami revealing an anecdote, "We spoke freely, and (Yoshida) Mizuki-chan took care of everything." Co-star Hamura Hitonari and director Koyama also appeared at the event.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Namiki Do (Bunshun Bunko), which unanimously won the 28th Matsumoto Seicho Award. Minami and Deguchi co-star as the two protagonists who are plotting to make a fortune in order to say goodbye to their town with an uncertain future. Park Soo-mi (Minami), who leads a depressing life unable to find her place at school or at home, and Yaguchi Miruko (Deguchi), a film lover who is at the top of the school hierarchy but has problems at home, form a club called "All Greens" to leave their town with an uncertain future and fulfill their dreams, and begin forbidden extracurricular activities in the hope of making a fortune.
