"ItTis Time for "Torture," Princess" comic final volume released

The 19th and final volume of the comic "ItTis Time for "Torture," Princess," serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," was released on January 5th. The manga, written by Haruhara Robinson and illustrated by Hira Kei, began serialization in April 2019 and reached its final chapter in August 2025, bringing the series to a close after approximately six years of serialization. With a total of over 380 million views, it continues to gain popularity even after its conclusion as the world's easiest "torture" manga. The second season of the TV anime will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels on January 12th, which is also generating buzz.

To commemorate the release of the final volume and the broadcast of the second season of the anime, a one-day "torture" event, "It's Torture Time, Everyone," will be held on January 11th in the in-store event space of SHIBUYA109 Shibuya (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo). The event allows participants to experience the toast "torture" that even the princess succumbed to in the first episode. Inspired by the princess's desire to see the butter melt on freshly baked bread and reveal the kingdom's military secrets, participants can eat the toast by telling the event staff their "secrets." The toast served at the event will be fully supervised by Chef Yasushi Nagashi, executive chef of THE Breakfast Hotel, a Fukuoka hotel renowned for its uncompromising breakfast cuisine.

The story is about a princess who is the commander of the Third Knights and a princess of the King's army who is captured by the Demon King's army, and is subjected to a variety of elaborate tortures by her torturer... The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2024.
