It was revealed in the 15th episode, broadcast on December 21st, that actress Rie Miura will be appearing in the special effects drama "Kamen Rider Zeztz" (TV Asahi, Sunday 9am) as the mysterious woman known as The Lady. The Lady suddenly appears in the final scene of the episode, and is said to be a key character who will shake up the story going forward.
In episode 15, the main character, Kamen Rider Zeztz/ Baku Yorozu(played by Ryutaro Imai), frees Nox (played by Yuki Furukawa) from the nightmare that has been tormenting him for years. However, at the end, Nox wakes up from a long dream and for some reason finds himself in a mysterious garden where black butterflies fly around.
Standing there was The Lady, the "woman who never sleeps," dressed in a jet black dress. "Good morning, Nox. How do you feel waking up from a long dream?" she called out, before saying something meaningful: "Let's make it happen. A free and beautiful world where code does not exist."
Mimura made her acting debut in 2003 when she was selected from over 10,000 applicants in an open audition for the heroine role in Fuji TV's Getsuku drama "Beginner." Since then, she has appeared in numerous dramas, but this will be her first time in a special effects hero production.
Mimura commented, "I jumped for joy when I heard I'd been asked to appear in the film. As an actor in Japan, I've always wanted to be a part of special effects films, along with period dramas. And as the mastermind, too! Recent works have been very visually intricate, so I've been working hard on filming to play a villain with enough depth to fit into the worldview."
"I am thrilled to be able to see up close the process of creating the same character as the suit actors and voice actors. I will continue to work hard to become a formidable obstacle for Zeztz and a villain that children will fear," he said enthusiastically.
The visual for the new chapter of "Kamen Rider Zeztz" has also been released. Kamen Rider Nox, who has woken up from a nightmare and gained new powers, faces off against Kamen Rider Zeztz Inazuma Plasma, with Commander Zero standing meaningfully behind him. In addition, the figures of three new agent characters are also shown along with the numbers 3, 5, and 6, which appear to be code numbers.
