Episodes 1 and 2 of the second season will be screened for the first time in the world. At TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills, Atsumi Tanezaki , who plays Frieren , Kana Ichinose , who plays Fern , and Chiaki Kobayashi , who plays Stark , will appear on stage to greet the audience, and live viewings will be held at other cinemas.

The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" from September 2023 to March 2024. The second season will air in the same slot every Friday at 11:00 PM starting January 16, 2026.
