The short drama "Mote God and Me," in which actor Takayuki Yamada plays a legendary high school student who has repeated a grade for 23 years, began streaming on December 10th on the vertical short drama app for smartphones, "Tatedora" (DONUTS).
"The Popular God and Me" is a romantic comedy starring Hitomi Hazuki, Takayuki Yamada, and Keiko Shimogyo. The story follows Mote Taiko (played by Hazuki), who is fed up with her lack of popularity, as she tries to become popular with the legendary high school student Ryunen Nagai (played by Yamada), who has repeated 23 years, but is suddenly shown the "Popular God" (played by Shimogyo) who teaches her how to be popular and she single-mindedly approaches him. The film is directed and written by CRAZY JOE.
"Rai Barco" will be played by Air (Crazy Magnet), "Tomodachiko" will be played by Arai Iku, "Eizotaro" will be played by Seki Koji, and "Tenkou Ta" will be played by Tanaka Ippei.
