The eighth episode of the fifth season of the TV drama series " Emergency Interrogation Room " (TV Asahi, Thursdays at 9pm), starring actress Yuki Amami , was broadcast on December 11th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 9.4% for households and 5.1% for individuals.
" Emergency Interrogation Room" is a popular series in which Amami plays Yukiko Makabe, a self-made interrogator who engages in a psychological battle of back and forth with violent criminals. The series began in 2014 and will conclude with the theatrical version of "Emergency Interrogation Room THE FINAL," which will be released on December 26th of this year.

Yukiko and the rest of Kintori tackle the case of a gun explosion at a police academy. The gun was fired by student Miyamoto Kentaro (Ohashi) during shooting training under the supervision of instructor Takigawa Takahiro (Tamayama). Was this an accident or an intentional attempted murder? As the investigation continues without any conclusive evidence, Miyamoto, who had remained silent, finally admits to firing the gun intentionally. Meanwhile, the dark side of Takigawa's training center also begins to emerge... and so the story unfolds.
