The eighth episode of the drama series "A Little Esper" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays 9pm), starring Oizumi Yo and written by Akiko Nogi, will be broadcast on Getsuku.
Cho (Masaki Okada) reveals to Bunta (Oizumi) and other Nonamare employees that the condition for being the "chosen one" is to be "an unwanted person." Cho, who has a physical presence in the future (2055), is trying to change the shape of the world with minimal impact by using "people outside the decision tree" who are not connected to anyone in the world of 2025.
Bunta, Sakurasuke (Dean Fujioka), and others are told that if they hadn't become espers, they would have died within the year, and are shocked to learn that this is the rule that says, "You must not love people." Meanwhile, something strange suddenly happens to Sakurasuke's body.
Enjaku (Atsuko Takahata), Osuke, and Hanzo (Uno Shohei) are fired from Nonamare and leave the company housing. For some reason, Bunta is not fired, and instead receives a new mission from Cho. Bunta protests, saying, "There's no way I'll do this!", but Cho tells him, "You have no choice but to complete the mission."
The reason why the trillions will change the world is revealed. What will become of the espers who have been separated?
