It has been announced that the legendary variety show "Unnan no Kimochi wa Jouei" (TBS), hosted by the comedy duo "Ucchan Nanchan," will be broadcast from 12:10 a.m. on January 2, 2026. The show, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026, will be revived in the Reiwa era.
The show gained popularity as a "friendship discovery variety show filled with laughter and tears," where the personalities of Utchan Nanchan and his diverse guests are brought out through various travel projects, leading to the creation of new friendships.
In this special, Teruyoshi Uchimura, Kazuki Otake, and Jun Nagura will be revisiting the surfing trip they took in 2003. There will also be some projects related to the show that will bring back fond memories for long-time fans.

Actually, it was Nagura who inspired the comeback. When I was drinking with Nagura, he kept asking me, "Uchimura-san, I really want to try surfing. I absolutely want to do that!" (laughs). So I somehow managed to talk to TBS and make it happen. We'll be going on location soon, so I'm really looking forward to it!
