It has been announced that the third series of advance tickets in the form of movie tickets cards for "Mononoke the Movie Chapter 3: Snake God," the third chapter of the all-new movie version of the popular TV anime "Mononoke , " the "Mononoke the Movie" trilogy, will go on sale on December 12th. There are two types of movie tickets using original illustrations, each featuring a design of the main character, the medicine seller, and the form and sacred instrument that the medicine seller changes into during battle. The two types are designed to connect when placed side by side. Each is 1,600 yen.
The original illustrations included with the movie ticket are set against the backdrop of the "Northern Room" of the Ooku, which first appears in Chapter 3, and depict the Medicine Seller standing in the midst of spring cherry blossoms and the Shingi in winter snow.
"Mononoke" is an anime produced by the reunion of the staff who worked on the popular episode "Bakeneko" of "Ayakashi," which aired on Fuji TV's anime slot "Noitamina" in 2006, and was broadcast on Noitamina in 2007. The story depicts the supernatural tale of a medicine seller who appeared in "Bakeneko" facing off against a Mononoke.
The "Mononoke the Movie" is set in the inner palace, where women's passions swirl, and follows a medicine seller as he pursues the true identity of the "Mononoke." The first chapter, "Karakasa," was released in July 2024, and the second chapter, "Fire Rat," was released in March. The third chapter, "Snake God," will be released in spring 2026.
