Two new teaser visuals have been released for the special effects series "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity," which will begin airing on TV Asahi in 2026. They show a silver Gavan and a gold Gavan, which are different from the "Red Gavan" that was announced when the information ban was lifted on November 24th.
The image of a silver Gavan standing in the rain has the words "vapor deposition" written on it, while the image of a golden Gavan looking up at the sky with both hands has the words "Super Gabai" written on it. The word "vapor deposition" was a familiar phrase from "Space Sheriff Gavan" which aired from 1982 to 1983, but attention is focused on what the new phrase "Gabai" means.
The YouTube channel "Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official" has released a 30-second "Super Trailer I," which gives us our first glimpse of the new Gavan's full body, which had only been revealed in parts until now.
At 8:00 PM on December 4th, a documentary video titled "PROJECT RED 'Super Close-Up' Part 2," which gives a behind-the-scenes look at the production of this film, will be released on Toei's related YouTube channels and social media, including "Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official."
"Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" will be a completely new "Gavan" that inherits the visuals and sci-fi elements set in space from the popular "Space Sheriff Gavan," while being reconstructed using the latest visual expression and directing methods. The cast and other details will be announced at a later date.
