The final judging for the Miss High School Girl Contest 2025, which will determine the "cutest high school girl in Japan," was held in Tokyo on November 30th, and out of the 15 finalists, Nanri, a first-year high school student from Fukui Prefecture, was chosen as the grand prize winner. Nanri, who was also chosen as the grand prize winner in the Miss High School Girl Contest 2025 held in July, also won the SNOW Award on the same day, making her a triple crown winner.
Nanri was so moved on stage that she burst into tears, expressing her joy, "I am truly happy to have won three awards in my first beauty pageant. Thank you."
When asked about any difficulties she faced during the audition period, she expressed her gratitude, saying, "There were some unkind things people said to me, but my friends and everyone around me encouraged me and I was able to get through it."
When asked about her future goals, she said, "I'm not in a position to say it yet, but I would like to become someone that makes people think, 'Looking at Nanri-chan, I want to work hard.'"
The Miss High School Girl Contest 2025 is open to any female high school student who is not affiliated with an entertainment agency, and this time around 43,000 people applied. The runner-up was Momonyan, a first-year high school student from Tottori Prefecture.
