The 45th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi , was broadcast on November 28th, and many viewers imagined the feelings of Toki (Takaishi) as she successfully skipped for the first time.
Nishikori (Yoshizawa Ryo) is instructed by the governor ( Kana Kita Shiro) to interfere with Rio's (Ryo Yoshizawa) love life. Rio is satisfied with the results of the love fortune-telling at Yaegaki Shrine and arranges a rendezvous with Heaven. On the day of the rendezvous, Heaven and Rio are gathered at the Shimane Prefectural Office, and while Nishikori is watching from the shadows, the governor arrives and tails Heaven and the others.
Meanwhile, Toki is at the Hanada Inn discussing the future of the rendezvous with Tsuru (Nobue Ikeya) and reporter Kajitani (Udai Iwasaki). After hearing the information Kajitani has, Toki becomes increasingly worried that Rio's rendezvous will be successful. Unsettled, Toki is playing sumo teppo at Heaven's house.
Just then, Rio, who had left the rendezvous midway, arrives. Rio laments, "We went to a place called Shiroyama Inari, but Heaven-sensei just kept staring at the foxes... and didn't even look at me.... Ah! Why?"
That night, Heaven happily drew pictures of the fox and giant turtle she had seen at the shrine for Toki to see. Toki glanced at Heaven's desk, where he also saw an illustration of the flowers Toki had arranged that morning. As Toki reached a crossroads while skipping, he was overjoyed to have successfully skipped for the first time. Hearing Toki's excited voice, Heaven smiled gently.
Comments on social media included, "Skipping is a premonition of love," "I see, when something happy happens (the seeds of love) skipping happens naturally," "It was so heartwarming to see the little feelings of love build up and grow inside Otoki, and then naturally turn into skipping steps," "I was thinking that she'd never be able to skip, but then this happened! I'm blown away," "Today's Bakebake made me realize that this is what love is supposed to feel like," and "It's still too young to call it love, but... something is starting to sprout!"
