The original drama "Today, Two of Us Skip" starring actors Sayuri Matsumura and Jin Shirasu has been released on the streaming service Lemino. The final episode has been released, and a video commenting on the two has also been released on YouTube.
The video commented by the two, who played a married couple, was a project in which they talked about each other's good points. Shirasu commented, "She's actually very competitive. The director made some unreasonable requests, but she said, 'I'll do it!' I felt her spirit as an actress."
Matsumura said, "Whenever I had free time between filming, I would always eat ramen, and I realized that I really do love ramen," to which Shirasu replied, "Is that all (lol)!?", showing their friendly banter.
The drama is based on the popular essay "Kyou mo Futari, Skip de ~Kekkon wa "Nanaka wo Ii"~" (written by Monosugoi Ai) on X. It depicts the ordinary but "Nanaka wo Ii" daily life of a happy couple, from fighting over a super-comfortable sweatshirt to a husband searching for the perfect mattress for his wife who sleeps in a bad position. All 10 episodes are available exclusively on Lemino.
