The TBS Friday drama "Fake Mummy" (Fridays at 10pm) co-stars actors Haru and Rina Kawaei. The synopsis and stills from episode 8, which will be broadcast on November 28th, have been released.
Iroha (Ikemura Aoi) and Keigo (Takashima Ryunosuke) have been selected as final candidates for the Genius Recommendation Study Abroad Program, and will now officially compete for a spot.
After Sayuri (Tanaka Minami) finds out that Kaoru (Haru) is a fake mother, she asks to explain the situation. Sayuri decides to have the three of them talk on the condition that Mamie (Kawaei) is also present.
When Makie goes to the hospital with Ryoma (Koji Mukai) due to a slight ailment, they run into Kaoru's mother, Seiko (Tsutsui Mariko). Kaoru rushes to the hospital after receiving a call from Makie, and the doctor tells her that Seiko's cancer has returned. Kaoru wants to help Seiko, but Seiko, unable to forgive her fake mother, remains closed off.
Eventually, Seiko switches to home medical care, so Kaoru decides to take care of Iroha at her parents' house after school. However, Seiko also treats Iroha coldly...
The script is based on the work of Sonomura Hikaru, winner of the first grand prize in the scenario contest "TBS NEXT WRITERS CHALLENGE." Hanamura Kaoru suddenly quits her job and meets Hidaka Makie, the company's president and single mother, at an interview for the venture company "RAINBOWLAB." Makie asks Hanamura to act as a substitute for her daughter Iroha, who is applying to a prestigious private elementary school, at the parent-child interview... This is the story.
