The sixth episode of the TBS Friday drama "Fake Mommy" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actors Haru and Rina Kawaei, aired on November 14th. The sudden change in Sayuri, a mom friend of Kaoru (Haru), played by Tanaka Minami, became a hot topic, with viewers saying she was "finally showing her true colors."

Sayuri learns that Iroha's (Ikemura Aoi) mother, Mamie (Kaoru), had the maiden name Hanamura. However, she feels something is off when she realizes that her sister, Maiko (Kawaei), has the surname Tanigawa, even though she is single.
Furthermore, when Maiko consulted her about her husband, Shingo (Kasamatsu Masaru), she gave him some specific advice that caught my attention, such as, "If you want to have an important conversation, it's best to let him feel comfortable talking first, such as over a meal," "The menu should include Chikuzenni or spinach ohitashi," and "Serve bitter tea at the end."
Feeling suspicious, Sayuri checks Shingo's smartphone without permission, and is left speechless when she finds a photo of the two of them together when they were dating.
Afterwards, a mysterious letter arrives at Ryuwa Academy stating that "Class 1-1 has a fake mother." Furthermore, even though "Makai (= Kaoru)" greets Sayuri with "Good morning," Sayuri ignores him.
Social media was buzzing with comments such as, "It's here! This is how Tanaka Minami should be," "Tanaka Minami would be scary if she were your enemy, and now she really has become your enemy," "There's no way Tanaka Minami would just play a quiet character," "It feels like Tanaka Minami is finally going to show her true colors," "It's scary, what's going to happen?" and "Tanaka Minami has that final boss vibe."
The drama is a serial adaptation of the winning work by Sonomura Mitsuru, who won the grand prize at the first TBS NEXT WRITERS CHALLENGE screenplay competition. Kaoru, who is struggling to find a new job, meets Hidaka Makie, the company president and single mother, at an interview at the venture company RAINBOWLAB. Makie invites Kaoru to a parent-child interview as a stand-in for her daughter Iroha, who is applying to a prestigious private elementary school.
