The 35th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on November 14th, and viewers were captivated by the performance of Chizuru Ikewaki, who plays Toki's (Takaishi) mother, Fumi.
Toki's family finds out that she is Heaven's (Tommy Bastow) maid. Furthermore, Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe), Fumi, and Kan'emon (Fumiyo Kohinata) also find out about Tae (Keiko Kitagawa), who has become a beggar. Just as Toki's family is about to question her about keeping quiet about Tae, Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki) arrives at the Matsuno household.
Sannojo says, "After all, it has to be money I've earned myself..." and tries to return the money he received from Toki. When Toki explains that the money was entrusted to him by his late father, Den (Shinichi Tsutsumi), Fumi immediately replies, "No," and asks Toki, "That's 10 yen of the 20 yen you received from Heaven-sensei, right?"
Toki denies it at first, but then admits, "I gave it to you because I wanted to save your aunt, who had become a beggar." He continues, "I didn't take on that job because of my family's debts, but because I saw your aunt in that state," to which Fumi mutters, "I guess so," and leaves the house.
Toki hurriedly chased after Fumi and apologized, saying, "I'm sorry." When Fumi confessed her feelings, saying, "I thought it would be okay to become a rasshamen (concubine) for Lady Tae..." and "I thought it would be okay to sell my body for my biological parents...," Toki denied it, saying, "That's all wrong! It's completely wrong! Birth, upbringing, and things like that have nothing to do with it!" and declared, "It's all just for the sake of my family!"
Sannojo, who had been listening to the exchange, said, "I want to be removed from the family," and said he wanted to save Tae with his own power. Toki scolded Sannojo, saying, "Now is not the time to say such things!"
Fumi tells Sannojo, who is unclear, "I'm telling you, I won't take it. Even young Sannojo wouldn't tolerate not taking this money, which Toki earned with such determination!" When Sannojo, "I'll take it," Fumi snaps, "You should say 'I'll take it'!"Sannojo replies, "I'll take it!" and bows to Toki, saying, "Thank you."
Fumi asks Kan'emon, who is vehemently opposed to Toki working for a foreigner, "For Lady Otae's sake, would it be alright if I let Toki continue working as Heaven-sensei's maid?" Seeing Toki's determination, Kan'emon hands her a wooden sword, saying, "From tomorrow... take this with you."
