JR Central's new commercial, "We're not gathering together," has been released, featuring idol group BEYOOOOONDS, singer AI, and band MONGOL800. Based on the concept of "We're not gathering together. We're meeting," the footage captures the moment when people "meet" at live shows and sporting events, and was filmed at actual live venues. At a BEYOOOOONDS live show, the venue is shown coming together as one through call and response. The commercial will begin airing on November 15th. A 60-second longer version will be shown during the "LUXAS Samurai Japan Series 2025" on the night of the 15th.
Kurumi Takase of BEYOOOOONDS commented, "Through this collaborative campaign with JR Central, we have been reminded once again of the joy of being able to meet our fans and the many people who come to see us. The Tokaido Shinkansen brings us deepening love and future encounters. We hope to continue our activities so that we can ride this Shinkansen and meet those who want to see us!"
The commercial also features the professional baseball team Orix Buffaloes, the professional soccer team Nagoya Grampus, and the comedy duo "Nightingale Dance." The commercial uses the JR Central theme song "Ainiikou," which is also a familiar in-car chime, to convey the desire to continue supporting the desire to "meet" people.
