The drama "When I Was Young, There Was a God" (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm) starring actor Yukiya Kitamura and co-starring Yukie Nakama has released the synopsis and stills for episode 6, which will air on November 13th.
Yuzu Ogura (played by Hana Kondo), who lives on the third floor of "Twilight States," is filming a movie about Nao Higuchi (played by Karin Ono) and Shiho Takamura (played by Anna Ishii), who live on the second floor. Shiho has had trouble with strangers since childhood, while Nao protects herself by smiling. The two began dating in high school and moved to Tokyo together after graduation. Yuzu is heartbroken when she learns that it will be difficult to buy the food truck that they had dreamed of.
Wataru Ogura (Kitamura) goes to an oden restaurant with Jun (Kotaki Nozomu) and remains silent about the divorce, enjoying the oden. Ann (Nakama) is convinced that Jun knew about the divorce promise from a young age, and feels helpless.
Wataru, Jun, An, and Yuzu are all reminiscing about the time they went to see a play for Yuzu's school event. At one point, Wataru is the only one in the audience who bursts into tears. When the others notice, they start laughing, and An gets angry and says, "What's so funny?"
Shinichi Nagashima (Masao Kusakari) and Satoko (Sawako Agawa), who live on the first floor, fall asleep on the sofa, tired from raising their children Rin (Yuzuha Wachi) and Makoto (Yamamoto Yuzuki). When they wake up, they don't have the energy to clean up the room, so they share a drink in the mess.
Meanwhile, Jun suggests an oden party, and everyone gathers at the Nagashima house. Everyone is having a great time, but...
The script was written by Yoshikazu Okada and is a home comedy about three families living in a retro apartment building.
