The 33rd episode of the NHK Asadora"Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on November 12th, and viewers reacted in a variety of ways to Sannojo ( Keiko Kitagawa ), who was unable to tell his mother Tae (Kitagawa Keiko) that he had received money from Toki ( Rihito Itagaki).

In episode 33, Tae and Sannojo continue to live in the dilapidated temple, receiving rice balls from the monks as alms. After eating her rice ball, Tae says, "Well, I'm off," and goes out to beg as usual. Sannojo calls out, "Um..." but doesn't stop Tae, simply saying, "Be careful." After Tae leaves, Sannojo gives the rice ball he received to a stray dog and goes off somewhere.
Towards the end of the film, Toki is asked to do some shopping as part of her maid job, and as she is walking through town, she is left speechless when she sees Tae still begging, even though she has already given money to Sannojo.
