Episode 6 of the TV anime "SANDA," based on the manga by Paru Itagaki, known for "BEASTARS," titled "Androids vs. Santa Claus," will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot "Animeism" on MBS, TBS, and other stations from late night on November 7th.
Santa, who has regained his powers, stands in the way of Principal Oshibu, who is trying to eliminate Ono, who has returned in his adult form. However, Oshibu, who is 92 years old, has gained superhuman strength as a result of plastic surgery to defy aging, and he overwhelms Santa. In response, Santa asks Fuyumura and the others for a favor, saying that the children's faith will give him strength.
"SANDA" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) from July 2021 to July 2024. It is a unique "Santa Claus" hero action story set in a near-future Japan where children are overly protected in an era of extremely low birth rates. The anime is directed by Tomohisa Shimoyama, known for "Yurei Deco" and "SUPER SHIRO," and produced by Science SARU. Ayumu Murase plays the role of Mita Kazushige, and Tochi Hiroki plays the role of Santa Claus.
