The fifth episode of the drama series "ESCAPE: It Was Supposed to Be a Kidnapping" (Nippon TV, Wednesdays at 10pm), starring actors Sakurada Hiyori and Hayato Sano, aired on November 5th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 4.1% for households and 2.3% for individuals.
The drama is a human suspense story depicting the strange getaway of a company president's daughter (Sakurada) and her kidnapper (Sano), and this will be the first time that both Sakurada and Sano will star in a drama that will be aired during the golden prime time slot on a major commercial broadcasting station.
Episode 5 was broadcast under the title "A touching final farewell, and finally an arrest!!"
Daisuke (Sano) is shocked to learn of the death of his mentor, Saito (Iida Motosuke), the mastermind behind the kidnapping. For Daisuke's sake, Yui (Sakurada) suggests infiltrating the funeral, despite the risks. The time limit is 30 seconds. However, the police are already waiting there...
