The third episode of the TV drama "A Little Esper" starring Yo Oizumi (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm) will be broadcast on November 4th.
Having become an esper who can slightly hear the inner thoughts of others, Bunta (played by Oizumi) goes to the company of Nonamare's president, Cho (played by Masaki Okada), to receive the "E Capsule" that will maintain his powers, along with his colleague, Sakurasuke (played by Dean Fujioka). There, he learns that Sakurasuke has a son. Bunta also gradually learns the secrets of Enjaku (played by Atsuko Takahata) and Hanzo (played by Uno Shohei).
After losing his husband in a tragic accident, Bunta is still shocked and begins to get used to living with Shiki (Aoi Miyazaki), who believes he is her husband. Despite being warned by Cho that "a hero's love should not be more than that of an idol," the two gradually grow closer.
The espers take on an unusually dangerous mission: to stop people from dying in an explosion at a shrine bustling with people during a festival. Can they save the people with just a little power?
The screenplay is by Akiko Nogi. The protagonist, Bunta, has become a bit of a psychic after returning to work at the mysterious company Nonamare, and under the rule that "you must not love people," he and his friends embark on a mission to "save the world."
