Yuki Yoda , a former member of Nogizaka46 who is currently active as a talent, model, and actor, appeared at the fashion and music event "Rakuten GirlsAward 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER" held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama Ward, Chiba City) on October 18th. Backstage, we spoke to her about the policies she values in her work.
Yoda appeared on two stages that day, "1st SHOW" and "4th SHOW." She said that the fur hat she wore in "1st SHOW" was her favorite, and said with a smile, "I don't like the cold, so in winter I often choose fluffy clothes like this!"
She is a regular model for the fashion magazine "bis" (Kobunsha), and smiles as she reveals that the secret to maintaining her figure is "Pilates classes and walking." She continues, "I like walking, so I don't consciously think, 'I'm going to walk!' but I think I end up walking a lot. Sometimes I walk for two hours. But I don't like the cold, so it's about time for me to stop walking (laughs)."
Many members of Nogizaka46 also appeared on the day. Apparently they also interacted backstage, saying, "I was on the same stage as Endo Sakura-chan and Kawasaki Sakura-chan, so we were taking pictures backstage! It felt nostalgic, and I was happy. It seems there will also be a live performance (on the stage after this), so I'm looking forward to it!"
She is currently starring in the drama "Buzz Until You Die!!" (MBS, Thursdays at 12:59am), and is scheduled to appear in "The Tales of the Unusual 35th Anniversary SP Autumn Special Edition" (Fuji TV), which will be broadcast on November 8th, as well as in the play "Non-REM no Mado" written by Bakarhythm, which will be performed in December. Since graduating from the group, she has been active in a variety of fields, including appearing on various variety shows.
Yoda values "communication" in her work. "This job cannot be done alone. I think communication with the people who support and help me is really important," she says. "I'm the type to strike up conversations myself," she says, but adds, "There are some people who don't want to be spoken to, so I try to read the mood (laughs)."
