The main cast of the drama series "A Little Esper" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring Yo Oizumi, gathered together for an "Episode 2 Watch Party" on the video streaming service "TELASA." As the cast watched the second episode, which aired on October 28, they shared behind-the-scenes stories and memories from the Hakone location shoot.
Masaki Okada, who was skipped out on his turn to introduce himself, stood up and said, "Hey! I'm here too (lol)!", which made Oizumi laugh, and the show started. As the main program began, a driving scene was shown, with Aoi Miyazaki looking back and saying, "It was like a school trip, it was so much fun!" Everyone erupted in laughter at Oizumi's constant "funny faces" in the car.
Dean Fujioka said he had a hard time with the scene where he eats the black eggs, a specialty of Owakudani, Hakone, but was surprised when it was cut from the film, saying, "Even though I put my body on the line like that!?" A little bit of this phantom scene will be shown.
Takumi Kitamura, who did not appear in the second episode, commented, "I watched it from the viewer's perspective, but it was very intense! It's a really good drama." The cast members talk about behind-the-scenes stories and highlights of the main story.
The drama follows the protagonist, Bunta (played by Oizumi), who has become a bit of a psychic after relocating to the mysterious company "Nonamare," and his teammates as they embark on a mission to "save the world" under the rule that "you must not love people." The original script is by Akiko Akiko Nogi, known for "Unnatural," "MIU404," and " Diamonds Sleeping in the Sea ."
