The fourth episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo It" (Tuesdays at 10 PM), co-starring Kaho and Takeuchi Ryoma, aired on October 28th. Viewers praised Takeuchi's facial expressions as he plays Katsuo, saying, "Katsuo's reactions are the best lol."
◇The following contains spoilers
Minato (Yuzu Aoki) is a "mass-consumption type of romantic" who breaks up with women quickly after dating, and is dating his ex-girlfriend Ayumi (Kaho). Katsuo, who is unrequitedly worried about Ayumi, sees Minato one day and chases after him.
Katsuo followed Minato into the bar, angry at himself for tailing him and ripping his hair out, "What am I doing?!" However, the moment he heard Ayumi's voice, he turned serious and, hiding behind the wall, watched with a serious look as Minato and Ayumi met up.
When Katsuo heard Minato say, "Ayu-chan, let's dance together," he scoffed, "Dance? There's no way Ayumi would dance." However, Ayumi seemed to be in high spirits, saying, "I'll dance!" Katsuo was speechless as he witnessed a side of his ex-girlfriend that he had never seen before.
Furthermore, when Katsuo saw the bartender deliver tequila to Ayumi and the others, he pointed out with a grim expression, "There's no way Ayumi would drink tequila." However, Ayumi seemed used to it, took a big gulp of the tequila, and said with a smile, "It's delicious!" Katsuo was so surprised he couldn't speak, and was depicted as being shaken up.
On social media, there were rave reviews such as, "Takeuchi Ryoma's comedy is great. He has a great expression (lol)," "Takeuchi Ryoma's reactions make me laugh every time," "Takeuchi Ryoma's comedy is spot on," "Takeuchi Ryoma is so perfect for the role that it feels like he's acting naturally, and every line and reaction is so funny that I laugh out loud," and "Takeuchi Ryoma can go from a comedy to a tear-jerking performance, is he a genius...?"
