The 23rd episode of the NHK Asadora"Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on October 29th, and viewers were surprised by the breakfast scene at Heaven (played by Tommy Bastow).
In episode 23, Heaven arrives in Matsue and the night has come to an end. Heaven is deeply moved by the fantastic morning scenery in Matsue, the "capital of the land of the gods," which she longs to visit. Meanwhile, Toki (played by Takaishi) is asked by the prostitute Nami (Honami Sato) to run an errand for Heaven, and heads to the Hanada Inn where she will be staying.
Arriving at Hanada Ryokan, Toki catches a glimpse of Heaven's daily life. Having her first breakfast in Japan, Heaven cracks open a large number of eggs and gulps them down raw. Toki is shocked and exclaims, "Wow," "He really is a Tengu." Just when you think she's showing off her bold side, she mistakes a small bowl of konnyaku noodles for an insect and flips over in fear.
Comments on social media included, "Wow, raw eggs!", "He's so eccentric (lol)", "The way he eats eggs is so wild", "He's a hero who gulps down nine raw eggs in one go in the morning", "Dr. Heaven is truly eccentric, drinking raw eggs and being surprised by 'bugs'", "Dr. Heaven's decision to drink so many raw eggs was so intense I couldn't follow what happened afterwards lol", and "That must have been tough for Tommy."
Many viewers were also reminded of a scene from the movie "Rocky" starring Sylvester Stallone, with comments such as "Rocky in Matsue," "I think it's Rocky and not Tengu," "Drinking that large amount of raw eggs in one go reminded me of 'Rocky,'" "The theme from Rocky was playing in my head," and "Mr. Heaven drinks more raw eggs than Rocky."
