The drama "When I Was Young, There Was a God" (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm) starring actor Yukiya Kitamura and co-starring Yukie Nakama has released the synopsis and stills for the fourth episode, which will be broadcast on October 30th.
Nagashima Shinichi (Kusakari Masao) and Satoko (Agawa Sawako), who live on the first floor of "Tasogare States," are away from home due to an emergency.
Without knowing the situation of Satoko and the others, Ogura Wataru (Kitamura), who is in charge of radio calisthenics in place of Shinichi, acts as if to hint to his wife, Ann (Nakama), that he knows about the divorce. Ann is irritated by this. Wataru and Ann try to keep their daughter, Yuzu (Kondo Hana), from finding out about the divorce, but Yuzu already knows and is left feeling uneasy.
Following Satoko's instructions, Ann waters the plants on the roof. Wataru cleans up in front of the apartment building, just like Shinichi had done. Then, Higuchi Nao (Karin Ono) and Takamura Shiho (Anna Ishii), who live on the second floor, appear. Ann points the water from the hose towards the sky, notices a small rainbow, and calls the three over. After gazing at the rainbow for a while, the four become curious about Shinichi and Satoko.
Afterwards, Ann points out Wataru's attitude after they talked about divorce, but Wataru doesn't get it. To talk without Yuzu, Wataru and Ann talk in the car as usual. The two don't get along and get into an argument, but then they get a call from Satoko...
Yuzu asks her brother Jun (Nozomu Kotaki) if it's okay to tell their parents that she knows about the divorce talks.
The script is an original by Yoshikazu Okada, and it is a home comedy about three families living in a retro apartment building.
