It has been decided that Kozo's broodmare, Royal Happiness, will be looked after at Nozaki Farm, run by Takeshi (Kiba Katsumi) and Kanako (Wakana Matsumoto). Over a celebratory drink, Kurisu learns of Takeshi's strong feelings.
Tsuyoshi, who insists on dealing directly with the horse owner and bids 100 million yen per horse, is serious about winning with that horse. "No matter what anyone says, my goal is to win a G1 race with a horse from this ranch," says Tsuyoshi, and Kozo, who is determined to "win the highest G1 race in Japan and make our horse the best in Japan. I'll do it at the Arima Kinen," seems to Kurisu to share the same thoughts. When the deal between Kozo and Tsuyoshi was completed, Kurisu was so moved that she shed tears.
On social media, comments such as "I cry just as much as Tsukamoto every episode," "Tsumabuki cries at least once every episode," "Tsumabuki cries a lot! Tsukamoto in this drama," "Tsumabuki's tears are the best," and "The week ends with me watching Tsukamoto's tears" have garnered attention.
The story is based on the novel of the same name by Kazuma Hayami. Eiji Kurisu admired his father, who was a tax accountant, and followed in his footsteps, but he experienced setbacks and lost hope. However, his life takes a major turn when he meets Kozo Sanno (played by Koichi Sato), a horse owner.
