As the third installment of Secom's "Protecting the Home Field with All Our Strength Project," for which Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball serves as an ambassador, a collaboration project called "Home Fielding Ability Test" has begun with Gosho Aoyama , the author of the popular manga " Detective Conan ," and Takuya Mitsuda, the author of "MAJOR." Aoyama and Mitsuda have released original illustrations of Ohtani. This dream collaboration has been realized, each capturing Ohtani's unique challenges as a pitcher and batter.
The "Home Defence Ability Test" is an online test open to the public that allows participants to have fun learning about how to protect their precious "home" from disasters, accidents, crimes, etc. There are five questions in total about disaster prevention and crime prevention that are useful in everyday life, and participating companies will receive a certificate of passing wallpaper featuring a newly drawn illustration.
Aoyama commented, "When I was asked to collaborate with Mitsuda-sensei, a professional baseball manga artist, I thought, 'What? Are you sure it's me? I'm a romantic comedy murder manga artist!' But I knew I'd never have such an honor again, so I put my heart and soul into the drawing! I hope you continue to protect your home team with your powerful pitches and powerful hits, just like Secom!!"
Mitsuda said, "It is a great honor for me as a manga artist to be able to draw Ohtani, who is now recognized by everyone as the strongest baseball star on earth, in collaboration with Aoyama-sensei. I'm glad I got to draw 'MAJOR'. I hope that this project will raise crime prevention awareness among many people."
