The radio program "FM EVA 30.0" (Saturday 10:30 PM), a collaboration between the popular anime series "Evangelion" and TOKYO FM, will air on October 25th, featuring Megumi Ogata, who plays the main character Shinji Ikari, and Mitsu Dan, who is an avowed fan of both "Evangelion" and Ogata. This will be the first time the two have had a conversation.
At the beginning of the show, Ogata asked, "Why did you accept to be our guest this time?" to which Dan Mitsu replied, "Because I like you, Ogata. I bought you a whetstone as a present so that my love for you doesn't get out of hand, so if anything happens, please use this to sort it out." She then suddenly handed over the whetstone as a present, surprising everyone around her.
Dan Mitsu, who watched the "Evangelion" TV series from the beginning in real time, said, "The world of ' Evangelion' is shocking to me. The emotions are divided into different shades, and I can take my feelings to many different places." Ogata said, "'Eva' is a little different from other anime, and for me it feels like another memory from when I was 14."
During the program, Dan Mitsu talks about scenes that she is particularly fond of and lines that have struck her deeply, and there is even a moment when she talks about the greatness of a certain character that she didn't realize when she was a teenager.
The second collaboration visual for the program was also released, depicting five pilots from the "Evangelion" series, including Shinji Ikari, gathering in the TOKYO FM studio.
