It has been announced that Director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the creator of the popular anime series "Gundam," will be appearing on the TBS Radio program "Oginoue Chiki Session," which will be broadcast on October 24th.
Host Chiki Ogikami conducted a lengthy interview with Director Tomino that lasted approximately three hours. With this year marking 80 years since the end of the war, Director Tomino spoke about how he perceived the war, how he lived after the war, and what thoughts he has put into his work.
He will also discuss his memories of the Mushi Production era, his theories on animation production, and the core question of what a Newtype is. A director's cut version will be released as a podcast at a later date.
