After four special episodes, the variety show "Aiba Hiromi's Troubles Car?" (TV Asahi), in which Arashi's Aiba Masaki and talent Hiromi solve the "problems" of people all over the country, will begin regular broadcasts from 7pm on October 23rd. Ahead of the first broadcast, the two were interviewed and shared an episode in which their efforts were rewarded in an unexpected place.
The show's first episode aired on December 31, 2023, and four special episodes have aired so far. The show has garnered a positive response for its content, which involves the hosts doing their best to solve people's problems, such as cleaning up the dilapidated gardens of a long-established inn and helping farmers with vegetable harvests, and it has been decided that the show will become a regular series.
Regarding the show becoming a regular, Hiromi said with a wry smile, "The staff are happy, but it's a bit tough (physically) for me. The location shoots are really tough." Aiba also added with a wry smile, "Physically it's really tough! In the end, I'm relieved that the person who requested me is happy... but while I'm doing it, it's really tough."
Many of the locations were far away, and the schedule was tight. During the special program, they also cleaned a hot spring, but Hiromi said, "After cleaning it up, I didn't go in even once (laughs)," and Aiba nodded, saying, "I went home covered in mud."
Aiba then revealed an episode where his efforts were rewarded in an unexpected way. "The hot spring where we cleaned the hot spring deposits during the special program, Sakurai (Sho) and Murakami (Shingo) are in it on another program!" Hiromi grumbled, "They didn't say a word to me (laughs)." Aiba said, "I was surprised (laughs). They said, 'The bath was nice.'"
The first regular episode is a two-hour special, and they take on the request of a long-established inn in Kusatsu, Gunma Prefecture, to "revitalize a huge pond that has become overgrown with bushes." They also help with the "Yumomi Show," a specialty of Kusatsu Onsen.
