The 40th episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sundays at 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , entitled "The Never-ending Fountain of Desire", was broadcast on October 19th, with comedian Koume Tayu appearing in the role of Namba-ya.
" UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama and depicts the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have laid the foundations for Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, who is known for her work on the highly talked-about "Drama 10: Ooku," which aired on NHK two years ago.
In the 40th episode, Tsutaju (Yokohama), who has been sentenced to half his salary, resumes his business and visits Kyoden (Masayoshi, Furukawa Yudai) to ask him to write a book. His wife, Kiku (Futo Nozomi), asks him to take care of Takizawa Sokichi (Sakichi, Kenjiro Tsuda).
Tsutaju is placed in the shop as an assistant, but Sokichi gets into a fight with Katsukawa Shunro (Tomoya Maeno!), an apprentice brought in by Katsukawa Shunsho (Maeno Tomoya)... Tsutaju comes up with the idea for a large-headed portrait of a woman from a painting of Kiyo by Utamaro (Sometani Shota), and heads to Tochigi to meet Utamaro.
Koume Tayu appeared as the owner of Nanbaya, a teahouse that Tsutaju and Sokichi stopped by on their pilgrimage to beautiful women in the city, but many viewers missed him. On social media, viewers were left in a state of "searching for Koume Tayu," with comments such as, "Where was Koume Tayu?", "Where was Koume Tayu?", "I didn't notice Koume was in it, so I'll watch it again," and "Sorry, I really couldn't find where Koume Tayu was. I'll watch it again." Comments such as, "As expected, I couldn't find Koume," "Kome Tayu was the owner of Nanbaya. But maybe because he was wearing makeup, it was too difficult to tell," and "I had no idea where Koume Tayu was in it. Damn it!!" were also posted.
