The latest installment in the remake series of the popular anime "Space Battleship Yamato," "Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199," includes plastic models of the "1/1000 Wave Motion Experimental Ship Ginga [3199]" and "Mecha Collection Space Battleship Yamato 3199 (Third Remodeling Type: Participation Medal Award Ceremony Commemorative Paint)" (Bandai Spirits), which are on display at the 63rd All Japan Model Hobby Show, a model exhibition currently being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto Ward, Tokyo). The "1/1000 Wave Motion Experimental Ship Ginga [3199]" is a 1/1000-scale model of the Space Battleship Yamato's sister ship, Ginga. Effect parts are included to recreate main gun firing. The bridge dome parts are for color reproduction, and colorless clear parts are included for use with the separately sold LED unit. Aircraft can be attached to the included display stand. The All Japan Model Hobby Show is a model exhibition that began in 1963. This year's exhibitors include Bandai Spirits, Tamiya, Kotobukiya, Aoshima Bunka Kyozai, Good Smile Company, and more.
