The 15th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on October 17th, and Toki's (Takaishi) confession drew a variety of reactions from viewers.
In the 15th episode, thanks to Toki's dedication, Den (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi) shows signs of recovery. Meanwhile, at the factory, inspector Hirai (played by Tomomitsu Adachi) is conducting a strict quality inspection, and Sen (played by Kino Adachi) continues to fail, forcing Hirai to take action.
This moment is witnessed by Den, who has come to check on them for the first time in a while. Den asks Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki) to explain what happened, but suddenly collapses, clutching his stomach. Sannojo tells him the truth, "It's impossible, it's too late now," and reveals that Toki is actually the daughter of Fu and Tae (Keiko Kitagawa).
Sannojo apologizes to Toki, saying, "I'm sorry for suddenly bringing this up..." but Toki replies, "I know everything." Toki confides, "I'm your uncle and aunt's child, and Matsuno's parents are my foster parents. I haven't heard this from anyone, but... I think it just happened naturally."
Den then began, "Then let me tell you," and said, "You are not my child and Tae's. You are the child of Tsukasanosuke Matsuno and Matsuno Fumi. From the moment you were born, and always will be..." Toki replied, "I know that too," and called out to him, "Uncle... Auntie..." After they looked into each other's eyes, Den collapsed into Tae's lap and died...
Afterwards, Toki told his family, "I just want to be alone for a bit. I want to be alone...to lose my temper," and left home. Toki cried loudly into the arms of his childhood friend and best friend, Sawa (played by Wan Marui).
Various comments were posted on social media, including "My tear ducts are breaking down," "Did he know everything? I'm shocked in front of the TV!", "It's so sad to think that Toki, who knew everything but kept quiet, was always acting cheerful," "He was hiding the truth all this time, pretending to be innocent, messing around at the Matsuno house, being spoiled at the Ushimizu house, and always smiling...," "I guess he knew, or rather, he guessed. No matter how much adults try to hide it, kids with good intuition will notice," and "Was Toki's calm statement after a long pause that he actually knew everything a lie he told for everyone's sake?" and "Maybe 'I knew' was a kind lie."
