Actress Yuumi Kawai will appear on the talk show "Our Time" (Fuji TV, Sunday 7am) which will be broadcast on October 19th.
Kawai, along with director Yamanaka Yoko of the film "The Namibian Desert" (2024), in which Kawai stars, and singer-songwriter Shibata Satoko, will talk about their work and personal lives.
Kawai decided to become an actor after watching Yamanaka's "Amico" (2018) when he was in high school, and even sent him a love letter. He is also a self-proclaimed fan of Shibata. Yamanaka directed Shibata's music video for "Passing," and apparently listened to Shibata's music while making "The Namibian Desert."
