The 15th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on October 17th, and viewers were shocked by the veteran actor's untimely "exit."
In episode 15, thanks to Toki's (Takaishi) dedication, Den ( Shinichi Tsutsumi) shows signs of recovery. Toki reports to acting president Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki) about his recovery, but Sannojo seems distracted. Meanwhile, at the factory, inspector Hirai (Adachi Tomomitsu) is conducting a strict quality inspection, and when Sen (Adachi Kino) continues to fail, Hirai becomes enraged and slaps her across the cheek.
This moment is witnessed by Den, who has come to check on the situation for the first time in a while. Den laments the terrible state of the factory and asks Sannojo to explain the situation, but in the middle of doing so he collapses, clutching his stomach. Sannojo confesses, "It's impossible, it's too late now. I've always been focused on my older brother and never learned anything. The third son, who has never even been spoken to, has been conveniently called in to help out," and reveals that Toki is the daughter of Fu and Tae (Keiko Kitagawa). "If the more I give up someone, the more I love them, then I would have preferred to have grown up somewhere else," she confesses.
Sannojo apologizes to Toki, saying, "I'm sorry for suddenly bringing this up..." but Toki replies, "I know everything." Toki explains, "I'm my uncle and aunt's child, and Matsuno's father and mother are my foster parents. I haven't heard this from anyone, but... I think it just happened naturally."
Den mustered his strength and said, "I see... Then let me tell you. You are not my child and Tae's. You are Tsukasanosuke Matsuno and Matsuno Fumi's child. Ever since you were born, and always will be..." Toki replied, "I know that too." Den met Tae's eyes, nodded slightly, and collapsed into her lap...
In response to Den's untimely departure, comments were made on social media such as, "I've been crying since this morning. I can't stop crying at Den's end," "Tsutsumi-san, your departure was too soon...," "My heart can't keep up," "You were kind and admirable until the very end," "Den-sama was cool until the very end," and "I think I'll miss Den-sama for a while."
Additionally, Tsutsumi's performance as Den received a lot of praise, with comments such as "It was amazing," "Den's indescribable expression at the end was incredible," "Tsutsumi's acting was superb. His feelings were conveyed even without lines," and "He was shown how amazing his acting is."
