It has been announced that three of director Makoto Shinkai Shinkai's animated feature films, "5 Centimeters per Second," "The Garden of Words," and "The Place Promised in Our Early Days," will be broadcast for three consecutive weeks on Fuji TV (Kanto local) starting late at night on October 24th. The terrestrial broadcast will commemorate the release of the live-action film "5 Centimeters per Second," starring Hokuto Matsumura of the popular group SixTONES.
"5 Centimeters per Second" (2007) is widely regarded as the "Your Name." (2016), "Weathering with You" (2019), and "Suzume" (2022). Along with "5 Centimeters per Second," Shinkai's other popular works before "Your Name." - "The Garden of Words" (2013) and his first feature-length animated film, "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" (2004) - will be broadcast for three consecutive weeks.
"5 Centimeters per Second" will be broadcast from 12:45 a.m. on October 24th, "The Garden of Words" from 12:45 a.m. on the 31st, and "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" from 12:45 a.m. on November 7th.
