The animated film "Aikatsu! x PriPara THE MOVIE - The Miracle of Encounter!," a collaboration between the popular anime and game series "Aikatsu!" and "PriPara," debuted in 6th place in the movie attendance rankings for the period from the 10th to the 12th (surveyed by Kogyo Tsushinsha), announced on October 14th.
The ranking is off to a good start amid a Infinity Castle Arc field of blockbusters, with " Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc" in first place, "5 Centimeters per Second" in second place, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba the Movie: Mugenjo Arc Chapter 1 - Akaza Returns" in third place, "National Treasure" in fourth place, and "Tron: Ares" in fifth place.
"Aikatsu!" and "PriPara" were rivals, but the "miraculous collaboration" that was realized to commemorate the 10th anniversaries of the two works has also been a hot topic. It was released on October 10th.
The amusement game for "Aikatsu!" began operation in 2012, and the anime began at the same time. "PriPara," part of the "Pretty Series," which began with the game "Pretty Rhythm Miniskirt" in July 2010, began simultaneous development of the anime and amusement game in July 2014.
