Actors Yutaka Mizutani and Yasufumi Terawaki appeared at a live fan meeting for the TV Asahi drama "Aibou Season 24" (Wednesdays 9pm, starting October 15th) held at TV Asahi headquarters (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on October 12th. They revealed that "even after 25 years, we still make mistakes."
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the detective drama series "Aibou." On this day, Mizutani, who plays Ukyo Sugishita of the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Investigation Unit, and Terawaki, who plays Kameyama Kaoru, held a talk show in front of 256 fans who were selected by lottery from a total of approximately 8,000 applicants, and the event was streamed live.
During the Q&A session with fans, the two were asked about their own bad habits, in reference to Ukyo's catchphrase, "My bad habits." Sugishita then replied with a wry smile, "I still get the location of the dressing room that has been used for 25 years at the "Aibou" filming studio wrong." He revealed, "Even though it's been 25 years, sometimes I still get it wrong. I don't even know why this happens (laughs). Sometimes I get the makeup room wrong, or the floor number wrong."
Terawaki also revealed about Mizutani, "He's extremely directionally challenged (laughs)," and added, "When we're on location and going to a toilet for the first time, I always accompany him because if I don't, he won't be able to get back."
