"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" features Higuchi Sho, the anime buyer at Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, sharing best-selling anime songs and real-life feedback from the sales floor. The number one song at the store from September 28th to October 5th was "Love Live!," the fifth single by Mirakura Park!, a unit of the Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club, a school idol group featured in the smartphone app Link! Like! Love Live!!, part of the popular "Love Live!" anime series.

Mirakura Park! is a unit formed by Osawa Rurino and Anyoji Hime, and their number one single, "Nyaosignal," includes the title track as well as "Heart ni Q." In second place was the second single, "One-Winged Toribaga," by Edel Note, a unit formed by Seras Yanagida Lilienfeld and Katsuragi Izumi, also from Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club, achieving a one-two finish.
Coming in third place is "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS -28 colors- COLLECTION," an album featuring songs sung by all 28 idols from the smartphone game "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS (Shinimas)." Coming in fourth place is voice actress and singer Haruna Aoki's first album, "Letters."
In 7th place is the 11th single "Run! Far! Reach! / Anti-You" by MORE MORE JUMP!, the idol unit from the popular smartphone game "Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku (ProSeka)," and in 8th place is "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS Mogami Shizuka," from the "SPECIAL SOLO RECORDS" project, which releases 52 solo collection CDs of all 52 idols from the popular game "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!" over 52 consecutive weeks.
In ninth place was "Eternal Desire ~GRANBLUE FANTASY~," the 36th installment of the character song series for the popular game "Granblue Fantasy," and in tenth place was "You and Idol Pretty Cure The Movie: Sorry to Keep You Waiting! A Sparkling Live for You! You and Idol Pretty Cure ," which includes the theme song and songs from the movie version of the 22nd installment of the popular anime "PreCure " You and Idol Pretty Cure ."

Higuchi Sho is a buyer in charge of anime at Tower Records Shinjuku's 7th floor (Japanese music and sales promotion). He was transferred from the Machida store in 2014. He first became interested in anime through 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion," "BLUE SEED," and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flames," and among anime songs, he loves listening to character songs, especially those related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!" His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm," "The Idolmaster," "Photo Kano," and "Sakura Wars."
