New trailer for "Scarlet" released

The latest trailer for the animated feature film " Scarlet " (released November 21st), the latest work by director Mamoru Hosoda, known for "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" and " Summer Wars ," has been released on YouTube. The trailer contains "famous scenes in which characters carve out their own destiny" from six of Hosoda's previous films, and acts as a baton being passed on to the protagonist of the latest film, Scarlett.

The latest trailer also features the most intense action scenes from " Scarlet," which Hosoda says is the most intense in his film history. The trailer shows Scarlett wielding her sword on horseback against Claudius's vassals, who attack her one after another, and her enemies of revenge. Scenes of her engaging in bare-knuckle sword and fist combat, as well as glaring intensely at Claudius while being grabbed by the hair, all vividly portray the powerful Scarlett.

There is also a scene in which Voltimand, one of Claudius' vassals who has been trying to kill Scarlett, reveals the shocking truth: "Don't you want to know? I heard the king muttering at the time (when King Amlet was executed)...!" These words send ripples through Scarlett's unwavering belief in revenge.

It was also announced that the IMAX version of the film will be released simultaneously on November 21st. The poster visual for the IMAX version has been released, showing Scarlett in a pure white dress, gazing at something with a fleeting gaze. The IMAX version will be screened at 60 cinemas nationwide.

The theme of the latest film is "living," and director Hosoda wrote the original story and screenplay. After her father was killed and her revenge failed, Scarlett once again attempts to exact revenge on her nemesis in the Land of the Dead. The Land of the Dead is a place where if one does not achieve revenge on their nemesis and reach the "endless place," they will become nothing and their existence will disappear, and Scarlett embarks on an endless journey of revenge.

Actress Mana Ashida will voice Scarlett, and Masaki Okada will voice Hijiri, a modern-day Japanese nurse who travels with Scarlett.
