The first special episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan, " starring Mio Imada , titled "Ken-chan's Proposal," will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 11:00 PM on September 29th. "Anpan" is based on the married Takashi Yanase(1919-2013), the manga artist and picture book author who created "Anpanman," and his wife, Nobu (1918-1993). The series depicts how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of troubles to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice," and aired its final episode on the 26th.
In "Ken-chan's Proposal," Kentaro and the cafe manager (Yuuma Nishimura) are preparing to propose to Meiko before her birthday party. Ranko (Yuumi Kawai) arrives earlier than planned and becomes anxious when she hears his plan.
Furthermore, Nobu (Imada) and Takashi (Takumi Kitamura ) also arrive before Meiko, leaving Kentaro flustered by the unexpected turn of events. What will become of this once-in-a-lifetime proposal plan?
