"Broadcasting Station Occupy": Viewers in an uproar over the surprising truth about "Miyake" Yoshida Mebuki

The final episode of the drama series "Broadcasting Station Occupy" (NTV, Saturdays at 9 PM), starring Sakurai Sho, aired on September 20th. A certain truth about Miyake Suzu (Yoshida Mebuki), an intelligence analyst at the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Affairs Division, SSBC, was revealed, causing a stir.

Musashi (Sakurai) discovers the true identity of the "puppeteer" who is controlling everything behind the scenes, but immediately afterwards, his supposed partner, the blue demon Yamato (Fuma Kikuchi), holds a knife to Musashi. In fact, it was a plan to lure the demons into letting their guard down and steal the tablet that unlocks the entrance to the broadcasting station.

Meanwhile, the hostages were in danger of dying in an explosion. Izumi (Sonin) arranged for the SAT to rush in after the lock was released in order to rescue all the hostages... and so on.

Afterwards, Shima (Gunpii-san) notices Miyake smiling and staring at his smartphone, and asks, "What's wrong?" Miyake replies, "My oldest child has a fever." Shima is surprised, "My oldest child?!" Miyake says, "I've been getting emails from my husband all the time... but he says he's calmed down now," and shows her the screen of the smartphone she was using to communicate with her husband. At Shima's loss for words, Miyake smiles and says, "By the way, my husband is also a big fan of yours."

In the first episode, Miyake revealed that he was a "Shima fan" and would often smile at Shima, but occasionally displayed suspicious behavior. It was later revealed that he was actually married and in frequent contact with his husband, causing a stir on social media. Comments included, "Married?!", "Go Shima!", "It was a sad outcome for Shima, but I'm glad Miyake's smile wasn't a lie," "I was sure there was some kind of ulterior motive, but he was just a smiling guy investigating properly," "Sorry for doubting you so much," "You exceeded my expectations in a good way lol," and "It was quite a shock."
