Summary of the 124th episode of the Asadora"Anpan"

The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others) will broadcast its 25th week, "Kaiketsu Anpanman." The 124th episode will air on September 18th... There are seven episodes remaining of the drama, including this one.

" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living welling up from your whole body, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."

In episode 124, Nobu (Imada) bows his head and asks Kusakichi (Sadao Abe) to bake him Anpan, but is turned down.

Having heard from Ranko (Yuumi Kawai) that the show will be a huge flop if things continue as they are, Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) and Meiko (Nanoka Hara) go out to hand out flyers. Then the opening day arrives. Takuya (Motoki Omori) is at his wits' end over the poor turnout. When Nobu apologizes, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) says he hasn't given up yet. When Nobu goes to check on the reception desk, some small children appear... Scene cuts have also been released.
