New cast announced for "The Royal Family"

It has been announced that actor Satoshi Tsumabuki will star in the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sundays at 9pm), which will start on October 12th, and that Kiba Katsumi, Omi Toshinori, Nagisa Sekimizu Nagisa, Nagauchi Erika, Akiyama Hiroki of the comedy trio "Hanako", and Miura Kira will also appear.

The drama is based on the novel of the same name by Kazuma Hayami. Eiji Kurisu (Tsumabuki) has always looked up to his father, who runs a tax accounting firm, but after a certain incident he experiences setbacks as a tax accountant and loses hope. However, when he meets Kozo Sanno (Koichi Sato), a horse owner, his life, which had come to a sudden halt, begins to move forward... This is the story.

Kiba will play Takeshi Nozaki, Kanako's (Wakana Matsumoto) father and the owner of Nozaki Farm. He's clumsy, but more than anyone else, he's obsessed with producing the strongest horses from Hidaka. Omi will play Junji Hayashida, the farm manager of Hayashida Breeding and Rearing Farm in Hidaka, Hokkaido.

Sekimizu will play Kozo's daughter, Sanno Yuriko, Nagauchi will play Yasukawa Sumire, who works as a training assistant at Hironaka Stables, Akiyama will play Toyama Daichi, who also belongs to Hironaka Stables, and Miura will play the childhood of Kanako's only son, Nozaki Shohei.
