Mamoru Furukawa, who plays Yaruse Nakasu in "Anpanman", will appear in the Asadora"Anpan"

Mio Imada stars in the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others). The 25th week of "Kaiketsu Anpanman" will begin on September 15th, and a new character, Furukawa Mamoru, will be played by Nishiyama Jun.

Mamoru Furukawa is an actor who plays the role of Yaruse Nakasu in the musical "Anpanman."

Nishiyama, who plays Furukawa Mamoru, is 27 years old and was born on July 12, 1998. He attracted attention for his role as a delinquent in the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Dragon Zakura" (2021), and also appeared in the same time slot's "VIVANT" (2023) and NHK's Taiga drama "What Will Ieyasu Do?" (same).

"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013), the manga artist and picture book author who created "Anpanman," and his wife, Nobu (1918-1993). It is a "story of love and courage" that will fill you with the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
