It has been announced that the TV anime "Touring After the Apocalypse," based on the unique touring manga by Saito Sakae currently being serialized in "Dengeki Maoh" (KADOKAWA), will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from October 4th. The original story is about two girls and a Serow off-road bike cruising around a post-apocalyptic Japan. The subtitles and setting for episodes 1 to 6 have also been announced.
The first episode will be "Hakone," the second "Yokohama and Yokosuka," the third "Setagaya, Shinbashi, Ariake, and Tokyo Big Sight," the fourth "Akihabara," the fifth "Nagareyama, Tone River Canal, and Kisarazu," and the sixth "Umihotaru." These were announced at the online event "Aniplex Online Fest 2025," held on September 13th.
"Touring After the Apocalypse" depicts Yoko and Airi traveling tandem on an off-road Serow motorcycle through a deserted post-apocalyptic world. With no traffic jams and no traffic lights to stop at, they take photos of famous landscapes, camp in the middle of a city surrounded by nature, and race around a post-apocalyptic Japan.
The anime is directed by Yoshinobu Tokumoto and produced by Nexus, and stars Konomi Inagaki as Yoko and Miyu Tomita as Airi.
