It has been announced that the popular Korean manga "One Day I Became a Princess" will be adapted into a TV anime, with the Japanese dubbed version set to air from October 1st. It will be released in advance on September 28th. The original is a popular work with a total of 200 million page views in the online version and over 2.2 million copies of the comics in print, and the anime will be produced by China's iQiyi.
The story is based on an original story by Plutus and a manga by Spoon. Princess Athanasia, born in the magical kingdom of the Obelia Empire, has the mysterious power to see her future through dreams, and on her 18th birthday she learns that she will be banished by her father, Emperor Claude, who has always treated her badly. In order to change her fate, Athanasia must rise up with determination.
The voice cast for the dubbed version has also been announced, with Morohoshi Sumire playing the protagonist Athanasia, Maeno Tomoaki playing the ruthless father King Claude, Kimura Ryohei playing the cheerful and handsome guard knight Felix, Nobuhiko Okamoto playing the mysterious wizard Lucas, Shuichiro Umeda playing the knowledgeable and talented kind boy Ezekiel, and Manaka Iwami playing the kind-hearted girl Jennet. A teaser PV and teaser visual for the dubbed version have also been released.
